Xbox 360 price drops in Europe

The price of all three versions of the Xbox 360 has dropped here in Europe following an announcement by Microsoft last week. £160 of your hard-earned money will now pick up the 'Arcade' edition, which comes sans-HDD but with a 256MB Memory Unit, while the standard 20GB HDD-inclusive 360 model - the one most people buy - is now just a penny under £200. Those looking for the Elite option can now grab the black 120GB HDD-enabled package for £260; £40 cheaper than the 40GB PlayStation 3 model which is currently the only one on sale here in the UK. It'll be interesting to see the impact this has, especially with an Xbox 360 model now retailing below the price of the Wii, which is still at £180. Expect Sony to react if this is a success.
