Last week's PlayStation Day event in London, here in the UK, meant us Europeans were treated to an extra update, alongside the usual Thursday releases.
On Tuesday the demo of PS3-exclusive FPS Haze went live, allowing you to decide whether the long delays of Free Radical's story-driven shooter have been worthwhile. It was also joined by a demo of Condemned 2, which had been previously released in the States. The SEGA horror third-person adventure title will be getting a review on here soon. If free demos don't satisfy you, then there was also plenty of paid-for content to go round. LEading the pack was Blast Factor Advanced, a version of the twin-stick shooter that includes the additional content, which strangely doesn't seem to be available for purchase seperately (like it is in other regions). Original release High Velocity Bowling also appears, and both packages are priced at £4.99. For £1.50 less, though, you can give EA's Street Skaer PS1 game - on both your PSP and PS3 too, of course. It's not quite as good as their Skate titles, though...
Thursday brought more demo goodness in the form of Codemasters' racer Race Driver: GRID. The free sample lets you try out 3 disciplines offline, as well as including online action for you to enjoy. Guitar Hero III got two promised music packs for "Def Leppard" and "Muse", while Army of Two got an "SSC Challenge" game pack. All three bits of content will cost £3.99 a piece.
Meanwhile across both days a bunch of free trailers also went up, most of which provide footage from the London event itself.
