Surprise on PSP Store in Europe with Patapon demo and more

The intriguing and interesting-looking Patapon on the PSP can now be sampled for free thanks to the early arrival of a demo for the game on the European PlayStation Store. Heading over to the PC version of the Store allows you to pick up the trial of the rhythm-based tactical 'God' game. A strange combination, indeed.
Also on that Store is a demo for SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 2, which is only around 7MB in size compared to Patapon's over 60MB. Patapon is out next Friday, while Fireteam Bravo 2, oddly enough, actually came out last June. The demo is a bit on the late side, then...
WipEout Pulse continues in [url=http://www.allaboutgames.co.uk/news.php?t=001835]it's efforts to sell your more content[/i], with the release of the Icarus Pack. Again you get two tracks and a new team - which unfortunately can't be used online - though this time for the slightly lower price of £2.99. Whether the 50 pence discount was down to consumer demand remains to be seen.
