Pinball, aliens and brain training on WiiWare

The latest Wii Shop Channel update has brought three more WiiWare releases; Alien Crush Returns, Brain Challenge, and Space Invaders Get Even. The second is a fairly regular 'brain game', though the first on WiiWare, and is the most expensive release in this update, costing 1000 Wii Points (£7). The other two, however, are quite high profile. The first is Hudson's new pinball release, bringing back the classic Cursh Pinball franchise. The changes here, aside from the improved graphics over the Turbografx original (which is already available on the Virtual Console), are Wii Remote controls, new ball powers, and Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection (i.e. online) multiplayer action. It costs 800 Wii Points (£4.20). The last of the three is Space Invaders Get Even a curious title from Taito that turns the regular Space Invaders formula upside down. Yes, you get to be the space invaders. The game starts at 500 Wii Points (£3.50) with a "Starter Pack" with three more packs available for 500 Wii Points apiece also available on the Wii Shop Channel.
