No PlayStation Store updates until Relaunch on April 15th

Sony is set to relaunch the PlayStation 3's PlayStation Store on April 15th, and in the mean time that means there's no updates to the service. Hence why we haven't got a post up this week about what's new on the European Store, not that no content is much less than usual for us anyway... Still, Sony is holding back on some of the content it has planned for the Store (and yes, there are some treats in sight) until that launch. In the meantime, however, the Store does remain open, so you can still buy and download content as usual. The new edition is looking good however, and is based on the popular SingStore that the PS3 version of SingStar uses. It will bring a new firmware update - version 2.30 - which will mean an application will power the service rather than the website-driven system currently in place.
