New PSP firmware goes live

If you booted up your PSP you probably didn't notice that a new firmware was available for the device. That's because, unlike the consoles, you don't get notified about such things until you go searching the Network Update feature for it, so that's where we step in. Thus, it is our duty to inform you that the version 3.95 firmware is now available to download for free. "What does it do?" you ask. Well, it's not that exciting, with only two note-worthy changes. Firstly, while playing PS1 games on your PSP you can now customise the button layout. Secondly, you can now quit Remote Play and choose to turn off your PS3 or leave it on after quitting. Exciting, huh? Though that second feature is useful if you want to keep a download going.

Hopefully things will be more exciting for upcoming version 4.00...
