Both the PS3 and PSP got new versions of firmware this week, bringing a few new features to each of Sony's platforms. For the PlayStation 3 there's now Facebook integration, just a day after Microsoft introduced the social networking service to the Xbox 360. On the PS3 you could already view Facebook via the web browser, but the firmware brings the ability to sign in to your Facebook account from the XMB, and allow the PlayStation Store, and games which support it, to automatically send messages to the service, such as what you bought, or the trophies you've earned. There's also a couple of minor changes; photos are now displayed in a grid rather than a long list, making them more practical to view, and you can now change the colour of your PSN profile. Version 3.10 is available for free now/

On the PSP, the free 6.20 update brings the Digital Comics application, although the comics themselves don't launch until next month. Movies and music can also now be arranged in playlists, which can also be set up via Media Go on a Windows PC, or transfer over from playlists on a PS3.
