New Codename Panzers revealed... for 2008

It's not often you get so much notice of a game's development before release (unless it's a 3DRealms title...), but the full sequel to the almost-released Codename Panzers: Phase 2 is underway at developers Stormregion. German publisher 10TACLE Studios have signed up the real-time strategy game for their region and announced it will arrive on PC in 2008. Console conversions are also expected, but whether they mean PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4, it's too early to say at this point. The developers plan to make some major changes, not only to their series, but to the genre, and state that even the setting will leave the World War II scenario.
Expect to hear more over the next 3 years about this title, though don't expect many details to arrive soon.
