Microsoft have revealed UK pricing for their Kinect motion controller; for £129.99 you get to join the controller-free revolution. Or at least Microsoft's attempt at a revolution, as it remains to be seen whether such a high price will warrant the update it's hoping for, particularly amongst the casual audience. It comes in considerably more expensive than Sony's PlayStation Move system - due to launch in September - which starts at £50 for the initial pack. However, when you start addng in extra controllers then the Kinect price becomes more reasonable, and that £130 also buys you the bundled Kinect Adventures game too. Unfortunately there is still no release date in the UK for Kinect.

Alongside this announcement, Microsoft also unveiled a new Xbox 360 model and bundle. To accompany the recently release new Xbox 360 S design with its 250GB hard disk drive will be a cheaper model featuring 4GB of internal storage and an empty slot for inserting a HDD later. The replacement for the current "Arcade" model of the Xbox 360 will cost £150 when it launches on the 20th August. When Kinect finally hits ours shores you'll be able to pick up this new 4GB Xbox 360 with Kinect in a bundle for £250.
