Mega Turrican on Virtual Console

This week sees just one new game added to the European Virtual Console in the form of Mega Turrican. The game was made by Factor 5, who have since made the Star Wars: Rogue Squadron games, as well as last year's PS3 release Lair. The 2D side-scrolling action series began on the Commodore 64, but this is the Mega Drive version, and thus will cost you 800 Wii Points, or £5.60, to pick up. The first of the two SNES releases, Super Turrican, is already available on the service for the same price, so if you enjoy this, there's already more to check out.

If you don't know what it's like, then I'm afraid you're still stumped by Nintendo's lack of VC demos. Maybe this will change in the future, but there's no sign of it at the moment.
