MGS4 demo makes rather late arrival on PS Store

It may have been out since June, but Metal Gear Solid 4 has only just dropped a demo on to the PlayStation Store. For those curious PS3 owners who don't own this excellent title, now's your chance to grab a slice of the action for free. It's joined in the demo stakes by Alone in the Dark: Inferno, the PS3 update of the 'slightly broken' Xbox 360 action title that hopefully puts right those wrongs.
PSP and PS3 owners also have two new PS1 games to purchase and download: Spin Jam, and Theme Park. They're both £3.99, which suggests inflation has reached the PS Store - such titles were 50p cheaper back in the olden days. Inflation, however, cannot account for the extorionate price Sony are charging for the LittleBigPlanet 'Rare Week 1' t-shirt; £3.99. Yes, nearly four whole pounds for a virtual t-shirt for your character. At least the other bits of DLC for the game are reasonably price. The Motorstorm costume is £1.59, but more importantly, there are Spacesuit and Halloween costumes available for free. Also free, but only until this Thursday (13th) is an "Elistment Pack" for Ubisoft's recently released RTS Tom Clancy's EndWar. The Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm "Storm Pack 1" is always free, however.
There's also the usual music track packs for Rock Band and Guitar Hero, except the latter are now for the new Guitar Hero: World Tour rather than Guitar Hero III. They're also quite expensive at £1.59 a piece, compared to 59p or 99p for Rock Band tracks.
A NCAA Basketball 09 demo is the only extra free item you can pick up from the US Store if you pretend to be American.
