The first game add-on for Valve's zombie-filled first-person shooter, Left 4 Dead 2, has been released on both the PC and Xbox 30. It brings the survivors from the original game down to Southern United States where the second game is set so that both sets of warriors met up to fight off more Infected. The result of the whole new campaign, called "The Passing", is new single-player, multiplayer and co-operative gameplay.
"The Passing" features 3 new maps, a new "uncommon common" zombie class (the fallen survivor), melee weapon (golf club), firearm (M-60), and support for bot-controlled infected in Versus mode. A new game mode called Mutations is also included, which includes different configurations weekly. In addition there are 10 new Achievements for both the PC and 360 editions.
PC gamers will get the add-on for free through Steam, and will automatically receive it in a new update. Xbox 360 gamers will need to head to the Xbox Live Marketplace and pick it up for 560 Microsoft Points (£4.76)
