The new content for Kane & Lynch had a more difficult than expected release last week. Well, on the PS3, anyway. On the Xbox 360 last Thursday saw the expected appearance of "The Drop Pack" on the Xbox Live Marketplace for the price of nothing (yes, free content, go get now). PlayStation 3 owners, however, would have been surprised not to have seen it on the PlayStation Store's weekly update (which also arrives on Thursday), and indeed, people on either side of the Atlantic were left all day waiting for the promised 4 maps to become available. Friday morning, however, brought us a patch that gives all PS3 owners of the game the new Fragile Alliance content, and probably some other fixes thrown into the mix. You'll receive this patch, for free of course, next time you load up to the game while connected to the PlayStation Network.
You can find out more details about the maps here, and we'll have a review of Eidos and IO Interactive's third-person shooter soon.
