Three Halloween-themed Virtual Console game have been release on the Wii Shop Channel this week. First is Konami's NES title Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, which continues from the previous NES game (which is also on the VC), and see Trevor Belmont and three new allies embark on a mission to take on Dracula. Then there's a fairly unknown title from Mario/Zelda/Donkey Kong/Star Fox/..../etc.-creator Shigeru Miyamoto called Devil World. Another NES release, it stars a dragon who must negotiate a monster-filled maze, while avoiding being squashed by the moving walls. Curiously it was never released in the US, but did arrive in Europe back in 1987. Now it's back again. Lastly is the arcade hit Ghosts'n Goblins, though this being the Virtual Console it is the NES version of Capcom's nortoriously hard platformer that's available to purchase here.
As usual there's no free trials to speak of. However, all three games are only 500 Wii Points, or £3.50 a piece.
