We may already be seeing the beginnings of a Christmas hit, and it isn't Call of Duty, Halo, Move or Kinect, it's THQ's uDraw GameTablet for the Wii. Well, if you're American anyway, as the device isn't due here until early 2011. As the name suggests it's a graphics tablet for Nintendo's console, and it's a rather interesting new accessory for the ridiculously-popular platform.
Set to arrive in time for Christmas Stateside, uDraw GameTablet will come bundled with uDraw Studio, an art-based game, and there will be two other games designed for it reeady for launch; Pictionary and Dood's Big Adventure. THQ are already planning further titles for launch in 2011.
The third-party publisher has worked closely with Nintendo on uDraw, helping to shape the design and giving THQ access to more of the Wii than developers usually get to touch. We'll be keeping an eye on this peripheral in the coming months, so stay tuned.
