Having spent years making Sony-exclusive titles, Insomniac Games earlier this year announced that they would be developing games for other platforms too in future. However, that didn't stop they revealing two new PlayStation 3-exclusives yesterday at Sony's Gamescom press conference. The much-expected Resistance 3 was shown off with its first trailer, but they also surprised with Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One. This is a multiplayer entry in the action-adventure/platformer series, featuring 4 player online and offline co-op. It's due out towards the end of next year complete with a brand new story.
There were a few other bits of news besides this. Two new models of PlayStation 3 were announced, as expected, with the 160GB and 320GB models representing the two versions of PS3 you'll be able to pick up in future. The latter is expected to be included in an official PlayStation Move bundle. Talking of Move, there weren't any new announcements regarding this, expect to confirm the European release date of September 15th - that's only about 4 weeks away. Gran Turismo 5, Sony's long-delayed racing simulator, finally got a European release date too; November 3rd - just one day after North America.
