On Sunday morning we say our goodbyes to Gamescom and Cologne as we head to the airport and return home. Our departure is not entirely upsetting though as we have a second PlayStation Move article, highlighting more of the games we got to try at the event. We also have our impressions of the Splash Damage multiplayer shooter, Brink.
Our favourite game this day was Dragon Age 2. We were presented with a trailer for the game, which looked really good, albeit, entirely without gameplay footage. Next we were invited to play an extract of the game which took us through a small portion of the single-player campaign. The combat felt really good and overall it had a more streamlined approach to it as less time was spent giving orders to your group of warriors. We can confirm that dialogue trees are present, much like the first, and we even saw a dragon, although I think we should saw no more to avoid spoiling you further.
As we leave Germany, allaboutgames.co.uk will be reflecting on the week’s event and will continue the process of keeping you informed about upcoming games. If you have any questions about any of the games we’ve mentioned or even if we haven’t, please email us at richard@allaboutgames.co.uk; you may even get mentioned on the podcast.
