Today marks the halfway point for the public dates for Gamescom but its almost at an end for us at allaboutgames.co.uk. Today we offer you another selection of previews and impressions from the show floor. This time, we have the throughly anticipated final part of our Kinect preview and to prove that we’re not completely biased, Editor Matt Bailey has also given his take on the PlayStation Move.
Our game of the day is Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. Fans, eager to get their hands on the multiplayer experience, were queuing up to 3 hours during the event’s most busiest time. Luckily we snuck in a little early and got to see a video demonstration of the single player mode, which is looking rather exciting. New combat moves and weapons were unveiled as well as some new ways of traversing buildings. Afterwards, we were able to play a time limited demo of the multiplayer which had a number of classes to choose from, each with their own class loadouts such as throwing knives or smoke bombs. It was the ultimate game of hide and seek, where you could quite literally, hide in plain sight.
As the weekend approaches, allaboutgames.co.uk will only be here for one more day, but we promise that there’ll be a selection of previews and booth impressions over the next week. We’re also pleased to announce that the first of our videos has been uploaded, showcasing Matt’s skills on Dance Central and as always, you can keep tabs on us via our Twitter feed.
