Welcome to the Gamescom day one wrapup. By now, hopefully you’ve seen the some of the content, we’ve been adding to the site directly from the show floor. There’s the Konami Press Conference summary, early impressions of Kinect and a hands on preview of Fallout: Las Vegas. We’ve had a fantastic day checking out the booths from Microsoft Sony and Nintendo. Arguably the best game of the day for us was, surprisingly, Driver: San Francisco After sitting down for what appeared to be a standard race, we were shocked to discover that it’s multiplayer mode is a little bit different. With each player taking the role of a disembodied ghost, you can have control of the cities vehicles. A chase car circles around a small portion of the city and its your job to stay behind it as close as possible. The combination of stunt driver and clicking changing vehicles at a press of the button makes it a thrilling and fun multiplayer experience. We look forward to playing some more soon. Thats it for Gamescom Day 1, we look forward to adding more content over the following days:

Fallout: New Vegas
