We'll jump straight to the PlayStation Store this week (or last week as this is a bit late...), with the star of this DLC Digest being the arrival of the God of War III demo. It curiously wasn't mentioned on official blog's update on PS Store releases, but we assure you that it's there and available to download for free. The E3 demo is over 2.6GB - you have been warned! Joining it is a free demo of THQ's Darksiders which is also available to Xbox 360 owners from the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Also on the PS3 part of the PS Store in this update is a "Skin and Map Pack" for the excellent Uncharted 2, costing £3.99, a free Episode 3 of Blue Toad Murder Files, and a bunch of White Knigt Chroncles costumes for LittleBigPlanet. There's no PSone classic, but PS3 and PSP owners can enjoy a new mini; Age of Zombies for £3.99. Despite coming quite a while after it's release, SEGA's PS3-exclusive Valkyria Chronicles get "Challenge of the Edy Detachment" for £3.19.

There's quite a bit of cross-platform (PS3 and 360) DLC this week, with FIFA Ultimate Team for £3.99 (PSN) and 400 MSP or £3.40 (XBL), The Secret Armory of General Knoxx for Borderlands (£5.49 for PSN, 800 MSP/£6.80 for XBL), and of course, many more tracks for Guitar Hero 5 and RockBand. Also appearing on both consoles is Greed Corp, an interesting new strategy game we'll be reviewing soon. It's £7.99 on the PS3, or you can get it for 800 MSP on the Xbox 360, with a free trial version only currently available on the latter platform. Talking of XBLA, Greed Corp was joined by two more titles; guitar-based 2D platformer Fret Nice for 1200 MSP (£10.20), and Lazy Riders for 800 MSP.

Returning to the PlayStation Store, we look to the PSP to see Echoshift, the follow up to the intriguing Echochrome, and available both in stores and on the PlayStation Store, with the latter edition costing £11.99. You can also pick up a free Desert Level pack for the game. Other titles available are Dante's Inferno (£31.99), Pro Cycling 2009 - Tour De France (£23.99), Valhalla Knights 2 (£15.99), Dungeon Explorer (£8.69), and Desi Adda: Games of India (£7.99). The Eye Of Judgment Legends gets a free demo, while there's a £3.19 Comedy Movies Quiz for BUZZ! Quiz World.

Lastly we turn to the Nintendo downloads. Konami's Castlevania: The Adventure Rebirth is clearly the most high-profile release in this batch. It's a remake of the 1989 Game Boy game, but with a bit more colour this time. It costs 1000 Wii Points (£7), and involves a mission to defeat Dracula. Curiously it's not the only dracula game released this week, with Dracula: The Undead Awakening also available for 1000 Wii Points on WiiWare, and 500 DSi Points (£4.50) on DSiWare. They are joined by Reel Fishing Challenge (500 Wii Points/£3.50) on Wii Ware, Bird & Bombs (200 DSi Points/£1.80) on the DSi, and Zoo Frenzy (800 DSi Points/£7.20) also on the handheld. Oh, and yes, there's two more bits of Electroplankton for 200 DSi Points each - surely it's just worth buying the original cartridge at this point?

That's all from this week's DLC Digest, although the next edition should arrive later this week to cover the latest content for the consoles and handhelds.
