Bohemia Interactive and 505 Games have made available a demo for their recently released PC military simulation ArmA II. The demo version of the tactical PC shooter provides a sample of the gameplay on offer, including the various styles of gameplay that are incorporated, including first person shooter, role playing game and real time strategy elements.
The game's story centres on the fictional post-Soviet state of Chernarus, and you'll get to explore its highland area in the demo, along with the small Chernarussian island of Utes. The game's 'boot camp' missions are also all available to teach you various things about the game, including helicopter flight, unit command and base construction. As well as action from the single player campaign, there's also a multiplayer map 'Mini Warfare' where you'll be able to try three multiplayer modes.
ArmA II itself is created by Bohemia Interactive, and the US Army use a modified version of their game to train recruits for combat situations. It's now available on the PC, and you can get the demo from the official website.
