It's safe to say that 2D action-adventure/RPG Terraria has been a bit of a hit. Re-Logic's PC indie game arrived on Steam and racked up huge sale numbers over the first week, and by January earlier this year it had picked up over 2 million sales. So it's not surprising that 505 Games were interested in bringing the game to more platforms - after all, while Minecraft has sold tremendously well on the PC, it has also made a big success of the Xbox 360 version.
Terraria is now on the Xbox Live Arcade, costing 1200 Microsoft Points (£10.20), and it should be arriving on the PS3 in Europe soon, with a PS Vita version due this summer. The game features exploration, crafting, construction, and combat, while the world itself is randomly generated. The new console versions also feature additional features such new weapons and enemies, and also the exciting addition of 4-player split-screen multiplayer. We'll have a review up on the site soon.
