Thanks to the use of the Memory Stick Duo format on the PSP, unlike the last-generation consoles, you can share your save files via the internet without the use of third-party software or equipment (though there are solutions available for this purpose). All you need is either a card reader that supports the Memory Stick Duo format, or a USB-USB Mini cable (which is supplied in the PSP Giga Packs).

Once hooked up, you can use a file explorer, like Windows Explorer, to browse the directories on the Memory Stick. Under the 'PSP' folder at the root level will be a folder called 'SAVEDATA', which contains all the folders for your save files. This is where it gets rather complex due to the naming of the olders. The codes match up to the 'UCES' or 'ULES' (for European users) or 'UCUS' or 'ULUS' (for North American users) codes printed on the spine of PSP game cases, or on the UMDs themselves.

If you want to upload a save on to here, then you need to stick the folder into an archive, such as a .zip, and upload this via the save game uploader, as detailed on the main page for this forum. If you want to download save from here, then you need to download the archive and extract the folder in it into the 'SAVEDATA' folder on your PSP, being careful about overriding your existing saves. takes no responsibility for damage done to your game saves, so please be careful, and backup anything you don't want to lose.
