We’ve actually gone and made changes

Posted by Matt Bailey

After a while talking about new stuff, we’ve actually gone and implemented some new things on the website. It’s not the new look, which itself will become a much more ambitious project this summer, but it’s something to freshen up the site a bit.

Firstly you’ll see we have a completely new front page which merges content together in one single ‘flow’. This blog-like format will give you the latest news, previews, reviews, articles, charts, cheats and podcasts all in one place. It helps keep the site looking fresh and places a larger emphasis on reviews than previously. You’ll also notice that reviews feature images on the front page, to add a bit of extra colour to our current design.

Podcasts are another new feature on the site. We’ve discussed this previously, but as of today we now have podcasts as a regular feature, and built into the site infrastructure. This means you’ll note only see podcasts on a regular basis, but they will be included on the front page. They also have their own RSS feeds so you can subscribe and get new episodes automatically.

Lastly there are a few other tweaks on the way to the site soon, including a new logo for allaboutgames.co.uk (which you can get a glance at in our podcast’s logo) and some tidying up around different sections.

We hope you like the changes, and welcome feedback below.
